West Oak Ranch, a new master-planned community that offers young families an escape from the city without giving up the good life, were seeking an identity design that would engage young families and convey an enriching lifestyle in a serene natural setting.

Logo Design
To highlight the natural setting of the West Oak Ranch community, we developed the logo mark with outdoor related elements in mind. The logo's letterform was created by redesigning the west cardinal point from a compass and combining it with a pattern that represents both, oak wood grain and contour lines found in topographic maps. The logo was then treated with a san-serif typeface and given generous spacing to convey a clean modern look.

Identity System
With the main logo established, we then developed a suite of secondary logos, patterns, color palette, and typography to further develop an identity system that could support the various marketing collateral that would be created going forward.
Collateral Design
Various marketing collateral was created to increase awareness and support the brand's market reach and sales. The collateral included billboard ads, brochures, and more.
